'Doctor Who' Star Ncuti Gatwa Recalls His Emotional First Moments Aboard the TARDIS

Ncuti Gatwa takes on the role of the 15th Doctor in Doctor Who's Christmas special, "The Chruch on Ruby Road," marking his first full episode as the iconic character.
In a documentary, both Gatwa and showrunner Russell T. Davies discussed the significance of Gatwa stepping onto the TARDIS set for the first time, with Gatwa expressing his emotional reaction to the experience.
Gatwa initially didn't believe he would land the role of the Doctor, but his audition impressed Davies and his team, leading to his official debut in the 60th Anniversary special titled "The Giggle" alongside David Tennant.
