Altered Innocence has acquired The People's Joker, a parody film that gives the Joker a queer identity.
The film was axed from TIFF for copyright issues, but will now have a theatrical release on April 5.
The People's Joker is a semi-autobiographical film by Vera Drew that blurs the lines between documentary, coming-of-age, and parody.
